The Cellar- A wine store on another level. While it is almost impossible to try every wine before buying them, we have done the work ahead of time to make it a little easier on you. We have researched each one of the wines on our shelves and ensured that it reaches a certain level of quality. And if we couldn't find a rating, we tried the wine ourselves to make sure that it is a product we can stand behind and affirm its merit.
The 2008 Galatrona is intriguing. Layers of espresso, sweet herbs, mocha and rich, dark fruit emerge from this beautifully-delineated wine. The 2008 isn't a blockbuster Galatrona, rather it comes across as quite classic in its mid-weight personality and Bordeaux-like flavor profile. I would not at all be surprised to see this wine develop beautifully over the next few years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020. 93+ Points Robert Parker
"Chateau de Montifaud is an over 50 years old bottle which stands as top lead of winner platinum medal international review of spirits award. It was made rich, sweet aromas of toffee, cedar, sandalwood and smoky brown spices. It was a fruity full bodied appreciation with vibrant dried fruits and finishes with long spicy and pepper raisin flavors and also rich super-smooth Cognac with deep flavor and Christmas cake."
